JasonCurious.com to Sponsor Q-Me Con L.A. Seminar

LOS ANGELES — JasonCurious.com will sponsor a panel seminar at the 2007 Queer Media and Entertainment Conference, "Q-Me Con," a three-day conference "for industry professionals working in, or looking to break into, LGBT content creation."

"I'm excited and I'm honored that a convention that is having reality television stars from shows like 'The Real World' and 'American Idol' is including JasonCurious.com as its only adult-industry participant," panel moderator Jason Sechrest told XBIZ. "I'm most excited about choosing the panel. I tried to reflect all aspects of gay porn. There is no question from the floor that these guys can't handle."

Scheduled panel members include Eddie Stone and Brent Corrigan, who will speak of the pros and cons of performing as studio exclusives and as independent agents; both plan to co-produce their own upcoming projects. Manager David Forest will speak of his experiences dating back to guiding the careers of Ryan Idol and Ken Ryker. Chad Donovan will discuss his lifelong career in adult entertainment, going from performer to his current position as exclusive director for Falcon Studios. Brandon Baker will speak as one of the operators and featured talents of the Internet escort site RentBoy.com. Moderator Jason Sechrest will offer a look at the gay adult business from the media's point of view.

"We really try to embrace all aspects of gay and lesbian entertainment," John Baez, a founding partner of Q-Me Con, said. "And we needed to address the adult business, as a building block and as a revenue portal. Jason is at the nexus of adult entertainment, and when we reached out to him, he responded. He got people on board. We like his irreverent tone and style. He has a business take on it, but he also has fun. This echoes what we're about."

Tickets to individual seminars are $35 each, and attendees can get $10 off seminar tickets and $26 off VIP passes by using the promo code "JASON" when purchasing online.

For more information, the conference website is www.QMeCon.com. The JasonCurious.com seminar, "Profits of Pleasure: Gay Men, Porn & Sex" will be held at The Renberg Theater in The Village at Ed Gould Plaza, 1125 N. McCadden Place, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard, on Sunday, April 15, from 2:15 - 3:15 p.m
