CAM4 Starts Celebrating Its 10-Year Anniversary

LOS ANGELES — CAM4 is celebrating a milestone this summer — 10 years of broadcasting online.

Since its introduction a decade ago, CAM4 said that more than 30,000 years’ worth of cam shows have been broadcast on its network and more than $100 million have been paid out to performers around the world.

“On its 10th birthday, the CAM4 community would like to thank its supporters, fans and friends,” the cam company said in an announcement. “In a business where competition continues to heighten and the desire to remain the No. 1 most diverse cams community is ever-strong, it is the fans and performers who really make the difference. The entire CAM4 team extends its heartfelt gratitude for your contribution throughout the years.

“The first 10 years have been extraordinary, here’s to the next 10 years at the forefront of live cams!”

CAM4 in the past few years has led numerous pioneering initiatives.

Last summer, CAM4 became the first cams company to release its live virtual reality broadcast platform — CAM4VR.

“To date, it is the most robust live broadcast VR system that has been revered for its advanced applications both in adult and other verticals,” the company said.

Just this past spring, CAM4VR made history as the first and only adult entertainment company to be a title sponsor and exhibitor at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Recently, CAM4 was the first and only adult entertainment company to be a title sponsor of AIDS Walk New York.

“Advocating and supporting sexual openness, freedom, and equality from the beginning, CAM4 has one of the most loyal and diverse performer and viewer bases — one that continues to grow, year after year,” the company said.
