LOS ANGELES — Supermen.com has announced its offering of a matching donation for Cameron Diggs’ GoFundMe campaign.
According to Diggs’ GoFundMe page, he was recently involved in a motorcycle accident in Dallas, receiving injuries that landed him on the surgical table of the Parkland Memorial Hospital. The money raised will go directly to medical and living expenses that Cameron will be facing once he is released from the hospital and continues his recovery, which he says doctors estimate as taking up to a year.
Diggs was one of the featured Ducati Models who helped ImLive-powered live cam site Supermen.com celebrate its relaunch this past Memorial Day weekend in Chicago.
Now in an effort to help motivate Cameron’s fans, friends, and family during this period of crisis, Supermen will offer a donation match up to the first $1,000 pledged.
“Cameron and the Ducati Models team appreciates what our friends at Supermen.com are doing here,” says Diggs’ agent Trenton Ducati. “At Ducati Models we stick together and this is exactly the type of thing that makes us a family.”
“Thank you Supermen.com. Cameron, his friends, family, and fans all appreciate your support in his time of need,” Ducati adds. “Cameron looks forward to coming online soon to thank you and all his friends in a live chat very soon.”
Supermen.com consultant Douglas Richter says the site is proud to stand by its hero, who is truly in need of support.
“As an ex-performer myself, I understand how difficult it can be in a time of crisis,” Richter explains. “If performers don’t work, we don’t get paid. Add to that needing to rely on the help of others creates a very difficult situation.”
“We are also going to set up a special free live event for Diggs to check in with us to thank his fans via Supermen.com for their support,” Richter added. “He is in the hospital so we won’t expect too much from him. Perhaps just a sexy wink.”
