BURBANK — CalExotics featured a variety of their pleasure products at the recent Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo (ANME), which was held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel in Burbank, Calif. The three-day ANME Founders Show started on Sun., Jul. 17 and concluded on Tuesday.
Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics, said, “At ANME, we focused on three key areas: branding, streamlining the user experience and retail support. Each focus was executed seamlessly throughout the booth, and we believe this was one of our most successful shows to date.”
A CalExotics spokesperson said, “CalExotics’ focus on branding was evident by its mainstream look and feel. When attendees walked into the ANME main exhibition hall, CalExotics stood out for its beautiful, clean, female-friendly look. CalExotics’ ultimate goal is to connect its customers and the end consumer to the overall brand story, which was seen at ANME and through the company's ongoing branding efforts.”
At the ANME Founders Show, CalExotics featured collections that included Dr. Joel, Couple’s Enhancers, Anal, Water Systems and Rings. CalExotics also featured its newest collections: Mini Marvels, Spellbound, Foreplay Frenzy and Remotes. And CalExotics have added to Inspire, Embrace, and other best-selling collections to round out their fall releases.
Another focus for CalExotics at ANME, the company said, was “streamlining the user experience.”
Colvin said, “We receive tremendous feedback from the end consumer and do our best to incorporate that feedback into future projects.”
Helping cultivate the user experience, CalExotics said, the company has “created products with simple-to-use operations. The aim was consistent control for ease of use and increased sales. These changes allow the user experience to be fun, playful and frustration-free. An example of this can be seen with the new Inspire Vibrating Tulip Wand. This product features two buttons; one turns the unit on or off and the second operates the functions.”
Jackie White, executive vice president of CalExotics, said, “Operating our new products is intuitive, which will ultimately lead to increased consumer satisfaction.”
CalExotics also extended its emphasis on retail support this season. The company offers retailers a myriad of options for merchandising and support, including point of purchase displays for top collections.
White said, “Retailers are the key to our success. We are happy to provide them with the necessary tools to make the sale.”
To round out the ANME Show, CalExotics also gave attendees a first look at their new website. The new site, which will officially launch later this year, will be a resource for industry professionals and a way to better connect consumers to viable retail outlets.
