Evan Stone Joins XRCO Awards As Hall of Fame MC

LOS ANGELES — Evan Stone, a fixture at XRCO Awards for more than a decade, will now be in charge of the Hall of Fame portion of the show. The 2016 XRCO Awards will be held this Wed., Jun. 22 at the Ohm Nightclub in Hollywood.

Stone has garnered well over a dozen XRCO nominations during his career. Stone named Male Performer of the Year by XRCO in 2007 and 2009, and he was also inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2009.

"We are very pleased to add Evan to the show in such an important role," said XRCO Chairman Dirty Bob. "The Hall of Fame is a very important part of the XRCO, and we needed the right person to take over this vital task. Evan is already a Hall of Famer and is still one of the biggest names in the business. He skillfully bridges the gap between the stars of yesteryear and the future of the industry. Evan is the perfect choice to be the gatekeeper to the most hallowed circle of the XRCO."

Stone will take over the job of introducing the Hall of Fame portion of the XRCO Awards for long-time historian Bill Margold. Stone's first Hall of Fame class includes performers Hillary Scott, Briana Banks and Constance Money, directors Joanna Angel and Mason, critic Don Houston, writer Raven Touchtone, Internet pioneer Jeff Zanzetti of IAFD and industry luminaries Steve Hirsch and Steve Orenstein.

"It is a great honor to be taking over this position at this year's XRCO Awards Show," Stone said. "For over 30 years, this event has recognized the very best our industry has to offer. To be part of an event that is the culmination of years of hard work for people I admire and have worked with is really cool."
