Playboy Profiles Autoblow 2 Inventor Brian Sloan

Playboy Profiles Autoblow 2 Inventor Brian Sloan

CHICAGOSex toy entrepreneur Brian Sloan is featured in a nine-page profile in the June 2016 issue of Playboy Magazine titled “The Man Who Wants to Change the Way Men Get Off.”

The piece explores how Sloan left his legal career behind to build a $10 million-a-year company he runs from a table in a café in China. Powered by “shameless self promotion” and with only one full-time employee, the article also examines Sloan’s entrepreneurial journey that includes a run-in with Chicago homicide detectives. Writer Mitch Moxley followed Sloan in China to incorporate into the article his tour of the factory that produces the Autoblow 2 and to Berlin to observe the conclusion of Sloan’s Vaginal Beauty Contest.

“Although a profile in Playboy read by hundreds of thousands of people is a cool achievement for me personally, I’m more excited about the possibility that my story might inspire other entrepreneurs to push their boundaries to achieve personal and business growth,” Sloan said.

Playboy is an American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine that was founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner and his associates.  In October 2015, Playboy announced that starting with its March 2016 issue, the magazine would no longer feature full-frontal nudity.  The June issue features Playmate of the Year Eugene Washington.
