CARTAGENA, Colombia — The Latin America Adult Business Expo has announced its 2016 conference will take place July 11-13 in Cartagena, Colombia.
"Live cams and many other adult entertainment niches are more popular and lucrative than they have ever been," reads the announcement. "This is especially true in South America. This is why it has become custom for us to hold the event in an exciting and attractive city each year and next year is no different. The host city for our 2016 event is Cartagena."
The conference is expanding to include adult business in general rather than just live cams. In 2015, the show reported more than 1,300 attendees participating in its workshops, seminars, parties and other networking events.
The port city of Cartagena is a modern fishing village on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, with a tropical climate and open beaches. In the heart of the city, the walled Old Town features 16th-century plazas, colonial architecture and cobblestone streets.
This year, the expo will take place entirely at the show hotel, unlike the last two years, when events were held at separate venues (convention center and hotel).
"Because it’s the only adult industry event in Latin America; there will be a wide variety of adult entertainment based companies and professionals from Central and South America who don’t normally attend the U.S. and Europe shows for various reasons," states the announcement.
Among the expected attendees are webmasters, affiliates, media buyers, site operators, third party billing processors, hosting providers, production companies, model agencies, talent scouts, programmers, software companies, design studios and more.
