ASACP Ready for its 2015 Return to The European Summit

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return to Prague for The European Summit, scheduled for September 22-25, at The Park Hotel Praha.

The European Summit (TES) is a B2B conference for the online entertainment industries, bringing together a diverse group of adult and digital media operators representing dozens of countries around the world for networking, seminars, socializing and more.

For 2015, The European Summit’s producers are continuing their longtime support of the association, by providing ASACP with sponsor status; including two complimentary hotel rooms and show badges, premium banner placement, an ad in the event’s show guide, plus a banner in the supporter section of the TES homepage, as well as other exposure on the event website and an exhibitor listing in TES’ mobile event app.

ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, along with its Director of European Outreach, Vince Charlton, will attend the event to further the association’s international outreach efforts, by meeting with relevant stakeholders to educate them about the ways, means and necessity of protecting children on the Internet.

“The European Summit brings together industry operators from Eastern and Western Europe and beyond, providing ASACP with a unique opportunity for reaching global digital media companies and services,” Henning stated. “By explaining how ASACP’s Restricted To Adults (RTA) website labeling system, industry segment-specific Best Practices and a standardized Code of Ethics help businesses protect themselves by protecting children, the association can make a difference in online child safety.”

“European businesses, especially those in the U.K. market and beyond, are on the frontline of sweeping changes to the status quo,” Charlton notes. “ASACP is here to help digital media companies prepare themselves for these ongoing changes; providing education and resources for taking a proactive approach to child safety — and to the safety of their businesses.”
