SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com performer and director Maitresse Madeline is attempting to redefine the traditional gangbang so that it's about female empowerment rather than subjugation.
“Women are sexual creatures. Women have all sorts of fantasies that men would never imagine,” said the noted Kink femdom director. “But you have to ask them what they want.”
When Madeline was first approached to take over Kink.com’s “Hardcore Gangbangs” line last month, she wasn’t sure it was for her.
Not only did she have a solid shooting schedule as head of Kink’s femdom line (Divine Bitches, Whipped Ass, Electro Sluts), but as a domme, she wasn’t sure her vision as a powerful woman would carry.
After some conversations with interim director Lorelei Lee, she had an epiphany.
“Lorelei showed me that just because a woman is the center of a gangbang, doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be in total control,” she said.”I want my women to be in control of the scene. I want them to own their sexuality.”
And so a site that had been previously known for abduction scenarios, is taking a different tack — putting the scene design almost entirely on in the hands of the female performer.
“The first thing I have them do is write out what would turn them on, almost like erotic fiction. It could be a few short sentences or something long and detailed. I ask them to choose the male talent they’d most like to work with. I ask them what they want to experience sexually, what turns them on. And then I start crafting it.”
Kink.com productions are noted for their long checklists of likes and dislikes, from hair-pulling and name-calling to specific sexual positions and requests.
Once Madeline has all of this, she designs the scene.
“I want to bring in female performers who might not have thought about doing this kind of shoot before,” she said. “We’ve been very blessed with fantastic subs who are often really involved in the BDSM community, and understand how to control from the bottom. But I think a lot of other women might look at it from the outside and think — oh, that’s not for me. I want to change that.”
Case in point, an upcoming shoot with Ella Nova.
Nova’s request to Madeline was simple: “I want to channel Michelle Pfeiffer in ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream,’” she said.
Madeline went to work, crafting a script involving elf-men and an arranged marriage. She sees the shoots as a way for performers to fulfill their fantasies, as well as those of the male performers and fans. Madeline, aptly, is guest appearing as a fairy godmother.
“To be quite honest, it’s hard to organize a gangbang, even when there aren’t cameras rolling. This was a unique opportunity to really create something authentic that would redefine the traditional gangbang from a woman’s point of view,” she said.
Anyone interested in living out a fantasy should contact Madeline directly, or fill out the application on the Kink Model site.
