LUXEMBOURG — The parent company of Jasmin.com has tapped a co-founder to take over as chief executive officer to lead its live streaming and webcam properties.
Karoly Papp, who helped start up parent company Docler Holding, will take over as CEO, replacing Laszlo Czero, who lead the company in the top slot for two years.
Czero, in a statement about the announcement, said, “the time has come for me to leave my position as CEO and pass the reins.”
When reached on Tuesday, Czero told XBIZ that he sees great things ahead for the adult webcam space and, in particular, Jasmin.com.
"In my vision, live streaming in 2-3 years will have a much significant role in our life, and adult content will be marginal compared to the mainstream segment," Czero said. "This is a perfect timing for the adult webcam companies to jump a big, and I’m determined to make these visions come true."
Gyorgy Gattyan, Docler Holding’s founder and owner, said that the company has become a leader in the live streaming and webcam industries, “thanks to great technology, a large amount of creativity and innovation. And all this would not have been possible without people such as Laszlo.”
The Luxembourg company’s Jasmin.com has been offering live video cam offerings for 14 years; in that time, it has won four XBIZ Awards for its live cam and mobile properties.
Karoly, described by Gattyan as a “decision-maker at heart,” said his first goal is to strengthen the company and its structure by hiring more “high-profile” people.
Karoly said that Docler Holding will be organizing a pitch session for start-ups in association with Luxinnovation and the ICT Cluster on Tuesday, March 31, at Utopolis. The winner will be announced on the same evening and will win a prize of €50,000.
