The show, “Virgin Territory,” will feature 10 male virgins competing in a series of sexually-themed challenges with the proviso that they abstain from any sexual activity, including masturbation.
Each week, the contestant with the lowest sex worth — the score used to rank the competitors — will be prematurely ejected from the house. At the season finale, the last remaining competitor will choose from five notable porn stars, one of whom will relieve the winner of his virginity.
Blatt told XBIZ that he could not confirm any names, but insisted that the porn stars will be among the industry’s top performers. The winner’s first sexual encounter will then be filmed and sold through an adult entertainment studio, but Blatt could not yet say which company would handle the distribution.
Two names in the news to host the show include adult entertainment industry superstar Jenna Jameson and sex tape celebrity Paris Hilton, according to a report on TMZ.com.
Blatt confirmed that his producer, Josh Otten of Sling It Productions, had contacted both women about hosting the show.
Otten’s previous credits include a stint as story producer on the reality show “Married By America.”
“This is ‘Big Brother’ meets ‘The Howard Stern Show,’” Blatt said. “Our tagline is, ‘When you win it, you lose it.’”
According to Blatt, the virgins will endure a series of challenges ranging from “Wet Dream Job” to “The Blue Ball Room” and “STD Spelling Bee.”
Blatt, who will serve as the show’s executive producer, said he is looking to bring the show to either a major network or a cable channel, which would allow him to make the content a little more racy.
Blatt’s last reality project, “The Ultimate, Ultimate Challenge,” failed to get off the ground, although the show and Blatt became the subject of an Acme Pictures documentary entitled “American Cannibal: The Road to Reality.”
The documentary, which is slated for a February theatrical release, chronicled Blatt’s show, which pushed the limits of the human psyche by starving contestants on a deserted island and presenting them with what they thought to be human flesh to eat. A contestant was critically injured on the show, forcing production to shut down.
