WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Chi Chi LaRue, the drag diva who runs gay porn studio Channel 1 Releasing, has hit it big again.
This time around, LaRue is heard as guest vocalist on fellow drag star RuPaul’s rocking song "LGBT," which debuted as No. 6 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
In fact, Billboard magazine even features LaRue in a feature on its website explaining how she ended up on RuPaul’s new album, “Realness.”
LaRue, who also operates a sex toy and novelty shop in West Hollywood, Calif., as well as branded Chi Chi LaRue merchandise, said she and RuPaul have been friends for nearly three decades and have often talked "about doing something together."
"I hope Ru asks me to do a video with her for 'LGBT,” LaRue told Billboard. “I want to look at her in the face and lip-sync this song.”
