Camplace.com Offers Holiday Social Media Giveaway

LOS ANGELES — Due to the high number of holidays celebrated during this period, whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanza, December is known as the gift-giving month of the year — and the live cam industry wants to get in on the giving.

Live adult webcam services provider Camplace.com has announced that it will be holding a daily contest for the entire month of December, which will take place primarily on its Facebook page, but it can also be followed via the company’s official Twitter account.

Starting December 1, the site’s social media representatives will be posting a photo on the Camplace Facebook page every day. Fans will then be invited to like, share or comment on this photo in order to be considered eligible for the daily prize of 200 tokens. Each winner will be chosen randomly on the following day and announced on the firm’s Facebook page.

According to a Camplace spokesperson, the rules are fairly simple and reminiscent of other Facebook fan contests.

“To be considered a suitable candidate in the game, users are expected to be fans of the Camplace Facebook page, to be active participants for the duration of the contest (either by liking, sharing, commenting, or all three actions), to have a Facebook profile that is at least three months old, and to have at least 10 Facebook friends,” the spokesperson told XBIZ — noting that the level of prizes being bestowed in Camplace’s December Giveaway is significant. “Compared to other contenders, Camplace’s offer of 200 tokens daily is double the amount given by other sites in similar competitions.”

At the end of December, as a celebratory finish both for the contest and for 2014, Camplace will also be offering a grand prize of 2500 tokens to their most loyal Facebook fan. This person will be chosen based on his or her amount of shares for the duration of the contest.
