LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return visit to Prague for The European Summit, running from September 22-25, at The Park Hotel Praha.
According to its promoters, The European Summit (TES) is Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online entertainment industries, bringing together a diverse group of adult and digital media operators representing dozens of countries around the world for networking, seminars and socializing.
Longtime supporters of ASACP, The European Summit’s producers have graciously provided the association with sponsor status; including two complimentary hotel rooms, show badges, premium banner placement, an ad in the event’s show guide, an insert in its “swag bags,” plus a banner in the supporter section of the TES homepage as well as other exposure on the event website and an exhibitor listing in TES’ mobile event app.
To help further the association’s international outreach efforts, ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, along with its Director of European Outreach, Vince Charlton, will attend the event to meet with stakeholders and educate them about the necessity of protecting children on the Internet.
“At the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe, The European Summit provides ASACP with a unique opportunity for reaching a wide range of digital media companies and services,” Henning stated. “By explaining how ASACP tools, such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website labeling system, industry segment-specific Best Practices and a standardized Code of Ethics can help businesses protect themselves by protecting children, the association makes a difference in online child safety.”
“The past year has been an eventful one for European busines ses, with significant changes in the U.K. market and beyond,” Charlton adds. “With the necessary education and resources to take a proactive stance, digital media companies can prepare themselves for a strong future — and ASACP is here to help.”
