Penthouse Signs With Nomad NetWorX for Mobile Distribution

LOS ANGELES — Wholly-owned Penthouse subsidiary General Media Communications has signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Nomad NetworX to distribute the company’s branded content via mobile throughout the territories of Australia and New Zealand.

Penthouse said Nomad NetworX would distribute branded content, which includes photos, videos and wallpapers as well as various other Penthouse properties such as Penthouse Variations and Penthouse Letters.

The deal also will cover content from the recently acquired Jill Kelly Productions library as well as programming created specifically for mobile.

“We’re confident of the ability of an established local partner like [Nomad NetworX CEO] Dan Rosen and the team at Nomad NetworX to package and promote Penthouse and its affiliated brands into popular mobile offerings for customers in Australia and New Zealand,” PMGI Licensing President Mark Rudolph said. “They are committed to ensuring that Penthouse remains commercially compelling to both carriers and consumers alike.”

Rosen said a company such as Penthouse, in partnership with Nomad NetworX, was well positioned to drive the growing mobile market.

"We are very excited to be Penthouse's exclusive mobile partner in Australia and New Zealand,” Rosen said. The major mobile networks are now looking to adult to drive adoption of wireless data services and Penthouse, with its strong brand awareness and high quality content, is perfectly suited to stimulate that demand. Nomad's proven technology platform and industry relationships will be utilized to achieve the best results for PMGI's content."
