CCBill, Paycom Settle Curran, Salonic Litigation

PHOENIX — Representatives from CCBill and Paycom have agreed to settle all litigation relating to Patrick Curran and David Salonic filed in California and Arizona courts.

The litigation centered around a decision by Curran and Salonic to leave their posts at CCBill for Paycom.

CCBill had filed suit in Arizona alleging that Curran’s new position at Paycom was a breach of his employee contract and confidential disclosure agreement.

For its part, Paycom had filed what it called preemptive suits in California and Arizona to establish the legality of Curran’s and Salonic’s employment with the company.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

According to a CCBill press release, Paycom has agreed to pay CCBill “an undisclosed amount in order to free Mr. Curran and Mr. Salonic from their non-competition agreements.”

Paycom Communications Director Rand Pate confirmed the settlement to XBIZ, declining further comment.
