CHATSWORTH, Calif. — NS Novelties on Thursday announced a successful show at this summer's Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. Presenting a showcase of new and expanded collections, NS Novelties said it treated attendees to a display of innovative product and packaging design, attractive price points, and mass market appeal.
With more than 90 items on exhibit, NS Novelties said it "brought something for everyone, and the proof was in the pre-orders."
“Customers were ecstatic with our presentation. We had something for everybody,” Director of Operations for NS Novelties, Lavi Yedid, said. “Very few people come to a show, see a fairly large collection, and like everything. Everyone has their favorites, stuff they think they can sell. You want to put together a collection that has a little bit of everything, and we accomplished that mission.
"Those looking for male products discovered 12 new SKU’s in our Renegade line. Those looking for bondage found Bare Bondage, a new transparent vinyl line of hardware. Those with a younger cliental took to our Starlight Gems collection, which now includes Starlight Gems Minis and two new lines of glitter butt-plugs: Starlight Gems Booty Pops, with finger-hole, and Starlight Gems Booty Boppers, with strong suction cup base.
"These shows are the first time people see your entire collection in one presentation, and the NS Novelties booth was vibrant, colorful, and attractive. Response from our customers, new and longtime, was phenomenal."
Among the 12 new SKU’s in the Renegade line of male products is the Renegade Inflatable Plug, a miniature inflatable silicone butt-plug with bendable wand, the Renegade Ripcord for adventurous gentlemen who enjoy mixing the pleasure of an anal plug with the intensity of a ball stretcher, and the groundbreaking Renegade Powerhouse Pump, a USB rechargeable penis pump capable of removing air continuously from its cylinder for effective results.
“The Powerhouse Pump was the star attraction of the new Renegade products, an absolute homerun. We had amazing reaction to it,” Yedid said. “It basically sucks the air out of the cylinder in a continuous fashion. With old style pumps, the air gets sucked out when you squeeze the bulb and then it doesn’t when you release. It’s erratic — same thing with a plunger or a handheld pistol type of a pump. The Powerhouse Pump is always removing the air, and has a silent motor. You can’t hear the air escape. It comes with replacement O-ring and a very soft, stretchable TPE doughnut base that provides a good seal around different size penises. To top it off, we were able to maintain a $70 MSRP, which is a very good price point for such an advanced model.”
The new Bare Bondage line of transparent vinyl and nickel-free items, including Ball Gag, Collar/Leash, Riding Crop, Hogtie, Wrist and Ankle Cuffs, was also a big hit with NS Novelties customers. “It’s a very vogue-like bondage line,” Yedid explained. “It takes it away from being a bedroom plaything and makes it a kind of fashion accessory; it looks like see thru vogue handbags and shoes. The vinyl does not stain, and cleans easily… cost less than leather goods too.”
NS Novelties also debuted its first Rabbit vibrators at ANME: The Bunny Tron Thruster Vibe, an 11.5" seven-function, six-speed TPR Deep Stroker, and the 4Play Deluxe: Slim Rabbit Vibe.
"We never had Rabbits in our line. NS Novelties doesn't put product out unless we feel there's a reason for the product to exist," Yedid said. "If we feel there is something different about the product, whether it's the material or the performance or packaging or, in this case, a price point where we're able to produce an item and offer it to the consumer at a price point which is much better than anything else they're used to getting, then we'll produce the product. The Slim Rabbit Vibe has an MSRP of $35 and the Bunny Tron Thruster Vive a $59 MSRP — there isn't a deep stroker of that quality offered at that price point. We won't shy away from putting out industry staples if we believe we can offer something better at an attractive price point."
