ObjectCube to Handle ‘Emmanuelle’ VOD Site

TORONTO — Video solutions provider ObjectCube has been tapped by French-owned A.S. Productions and its American film subsidiaries Hope Street Entertainment and Click Productions to manage the backend infrastructure for EmmanuelleOnline.com.

The site offers users content from the popular erotica series across a variety of formats, including video-on-demand.

Under the deal, ObjectCube will provide technical consulting, business consulting and software development services for EmmanuelleOnline.com.

“Emmanuelle,” which airs on a variety of cable channels, spans several decades in adult entertainment, with installments ranging from “Emmanuelle in Space,” to “Emmanuelle in Rio.”

“I am pleased to be working with A.S. on their ‘Emmanuelle’ series,” ObjectCube CTO Jay Janarthanan said. “They have an amazing product and we are working on a very well produced expansion plan. ObjectCube has been moving in the direction of mainstream adult, and EmmanuelleOnline.com is a nice addition to this area of the company.”

According to Robby Amar of A.S. Productions, ObjectCube gave them what they wanted in terms of bringing their product to the market via VOD.

“ObjectCube.com had the best technology when it came to VOD over Internet, and at the same time they are unmatched in their standards when it comes to VOD technology in adult,” Amar said. “Because of these factors, ObjectCube.com was our natural choice.”
