L3 Payments, Melody L Part Ways

WESTLAKE VILLAGE Calif. — Melody L, L3 Payments’ chief operating officer for the past five years, will be leaving the processing company in June, L3 Payments founder and President Kjell Petridis announced today.

Melody L plans to take the position of executive vice president with a bank-owned payment processing entity in the Midwest.

“It has been an incredible five-plus years here at L3 Payments, working with devoted, intelligent and hilarious people in an ever-changing environment," Melody L said. "When I decided to come to this payments company that supports an industry that is portrayed as the underbelly of society, I had many concerns but I took the chance anyways and I am really glad I did. I learned a lot about managing risk while helping merchants achieve maximum sales.

"The team at L3 will continue to offer stellar customer service, in-depth analysis of your accounts and strategies to support your business," she said. "Under the sound leadership of Kjell Petridis, the team will continue to deliver products and solutions that help merchants achieve their goals.”

Petridis said that he knew that the day would come that Melody L would move back to the Midwest.

"Melody's contributions had a tremendously positive impact on L3 over the years," he said. "We know she will go on to do great things in her future endeavors and we wish her well.”

For the past four years, Melody L also was a frequent contributing columnist in XBIZ World.
