Porn Hounds Prefer PS4 Over Xbox One 3-to-1

CYBERSPACE — PS4 users are streaming three times more porn than their Xbox One counterpart gamers, according to stats from SugarDVD.

Since December, when both consoles hit the market, although the Xbox console lends itself more to web browsing, the PS4 has won the hearts (and hands) of hardcore gamers.

Although it’s not clear why the Playstation is winning, Buzzfeed speculates that perhaps power gamers don’t like the Xbox One’s Kinect voice sensor that doesn’t recognize porn sites (even with parental controls turned off), and its always-on camera and perpetual motion tracking device may inhibit masturbating.

The PS4 reportedly did sell more units —  about 3.4 million units versus the Xbox One’s 2.4 million — but it still doesn't explain the porn preferences considering that downloading adult movies is not the primary reason for buying a gaming console.

And despite SugarDVD’s prediction last November that the “Xbox One is a gateway for porn of the future,” the company's download data clearly favors the PS4 crowd.

For the most part, it doesn’t seem like the two camps prefer one type of porn over another.  According to SugarDVD’s December stats, movies including “Cream Plosions 2,” Top Heavy Tarts,” Big Ass Movie,” and “Creampie Hunnies From Russia,” all came in in the top five on both systems.

But the two factions did differ in favorite categories. PS4 users' top pick was “all girl,” compared to Xboxers who like “anal."
