Red Apple Media Upgrades Boysinc.com Online Store

SAN DIEGO  — Hosting company Red Apple Media announced that it has implemented a fully-automated inventory integration for online gay novelty store, Boysinc.com.

The new feature marks the most recent phase of an ongoing partnership between the companies and streamlines the order process for Boysinc.com shoppers.

This latest improvement follows a shopping cart upgrade that included an automated Ebay and Amazon feed, which has provided Boysinc.com with the tools to maintain a strong retail presence with these two online conglomerates. The companies said inventory accuracy is essential and these new features have nearly eliminated the risk of order cancellations and delays due to unexpected out-of-stock or backorder alerts.

“Automation was key for this client, and we are happy to be the development and hosting company for Boysinc.com, as it’s one of the Internet’s first and most popular adult retail stores,” Red Apple Media Vice President of Sales Michelle Lockhart, said.

She added, “It was essential for this expansion to be done quickly and correctly the first time, which is why the Boysinc.com team relies on Red Apple Media for tech modifications like this. We’ve helped Boysinc.com get that much closer to 100 percent customer satisfaction.”

Red Apple noted that Boysinc.com launched 16 years ago at a time when adult toys, lubricants, books and apparel catering to the gay market were hard to find. Now the gay-owned, gay-managed and gay-promoted store offers products for customers of all lifestyles with an inventory stocked with the popular must-haves at competitive prices.

“Boysinc.com has allowed us to share in their growth and success and we’re proud of our work together,” Lockhart added. “Hosting companies are not created equal — more than ever it is the added value of hands-on support and performance that makes the true difference.”
