LONDON — Peekaboo Investment Ltd., the parent company of Mobjizz.com and Adjizz.com, announced today that it has acquired mobile content player AMV.
Peekaboo intends to use AMV's wide range of mobile products and markets to help bulk up the mobile products arm of Mobjizz.
"We have been focusing our efforts on our core market, which is the U.K., and have spent a lot of time building a strong offer,” Mobjizz Sales Director Alex Noirot-Cosson said. “The introduction of the AMV services in Mobjizz will enable our affiliates to push more services within the U.K. and also benefit from the new markets that AMV is offering."
AMV provides adult mobile services in the U.K., Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Italy and Norway. Focusing primarily on Google AdWord media buying, AMV continues to expand into new countries.
The companies said they would integrate AMV's services into their affiliate program and offer white label support to "protect the brands."
This is the first in a series of potential acquisitions for Peekaboo as it seeks to develop from start-up to a market force. Mobjizz sees this deal as a “turning point” in terms of expanding the quality of its affiliate tools and global offers.
