Known in the gay community for producing Latin-themed parties and events, Club Papi targets an audience of Latino men and those who admire them. After attending several Club Papi-produced events, staff members at NakedSword recognized the potential advantages of joining forces.
“Our staff has been raving about Club Papi events for years,” NakedSword President Tim Valenti said. “The packed, sexually charged parties are a natural match for adult video. We’ve had tremendous success with them in the past and we’re proud of the ClubPapiVOD theater’s unique content and design.”
During the winter, Club Papi began showing NakedSword softcore content on monitors at its events and giving away free passes to NakedSword.com. The success of those events, including promotion at a Long Beach, Calif. pride party, prompted NakedSword and ClubPapi to partner in the VOD site.
“The enthusiasm for NakedSword and adult content was overwhelming,” Valenti said. “We decided that a custom VOD theater using our NSPresents white-label brand was a natural progression.”
Both companies plan to use future Club Papi events as a springboard to promote the new VOD site.
