Adult DVD Empire Releasing Exclusive Comps

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Retail website AdultDVDEmpire.com has introduced a new area dedicated to compilation DVDs available only on the site.

Titled Comps You Can Count On, the lines of exclusive DVDs feature content selected by Adult DVD Empire editorial staff from studios such as Zero Tolerance, Devil’s Film and Anabolic.

In an effort to offer customers a product they couldn’t find anywhere else, Adult DVD Empire approached Devil’s Film in 2005 with the idea of releasing exclusive comps. Devil’s Film agreed to give Adult DVD Empire total control over editorial content.

The comps proved to be a huge success in terms of customer feedback and sales that Adult DVD Empire expanded the concept to other studios and eventually gave the project its own area on the site.

"After the success of the first round of exclusive Devil's Film comps — the 'All Time Best' series — we knew that these were something we wanted to continue to do," Adult DVD Empire’s Internet marketing director Courtney Arthur said. "The response to these titles has been overwhelming, causing us to invest more resources into exploring similar projects, and in the process continue to offer our customers something unique."

Other 2005 releases have included Elegant Angel comps and a second installment of Devil’s Film comps. The site launched Zero Tolerance comps earlier this month, as well as “Anabolic All-Stars,” featuring Teagan Presley, Tera Patrick, Jenna Haze and Belladonna.

Currently, the Zero Tolerance comps occupy the top three spots on Adult DVD Empire’s bestsellers list, and five of the 10 bestsellers at Adult DVD Empire are exclusive compilations.

“This is a testament not only to the quality of these DVD releases, but to Adult DVD Empire’s loyal customers, who have helped turn many of these compilations into some of the all-time best selling titles at Adult DVD Empire,” Adult DVD Empire’s Editorial Director Shannon T. Nutt said. “It’s always fun to collaborate with studios on these kinds of projects, but even more rewarding when the feedback from the fans is as positive as it has been.”
