CommerceGate Streamlines Full Shopping Cart Integration

BARCELONA — CommerceGate.com is now fully integrating two popular shopping cart applications on the market.

The company has included the addition of software from providers OpenCart and CS-Cart and said the new applications will strengthen the adaptability and profitability of its billing systems for U.S. and E.U. CommerceGate clients.

CommerceGate merchants will also be able to use the feature-rich software provided by OpenCart.com, which allows unlimited categories products and suppliers, as well as multiple currency and language options.

CommerceGate can integrate seamlessly with this shopping cart software, making it easier for CommerceGate merchants to launch their own OpenCart, the company said.

"We are always looking to add useful tools and integrate state-of-the-art software for our clients," said Bjorn Skarlen, CEO of CommerceGate. "Having the best shopping carts available on the CommerceGate platform gives our clients a big advantage in any market. Better processing performance without any additional work is what we are always looking to provide to our clients with. That is why we are the U.S. and E.U. payment provider of choice."

CommerceGate said CS-Cart provides a search engine friendly environment that involves table free HTML layouts, customizable META tags, search-friendly URLs and Google sitemaps automatically.

CommerceGate provides clients with an integration option that enables them to start billing with the new CS-Cart shopping cart system right away.

Last year, CommerceGate won Billing Provider of the Year for Merchant Services for its U.S. platform, and this year the company has been nominated for the XBIZ European Billing Company of the Year Award.
