PARIS — Marc Dorcel, a European leader in adult entertainment, and Naxoo, one of the main operators of the Swiss cable network, have sealed a partnership regarding management of the operator’s adult VOD platform.
With the new alliance, Marc Dorcel will provide and run all adult content available to Naxoo subscribers equipped with the Naxoo One decoder directly on their TV screen.
Since Nov. 14 and for the first time on the Geneva cable network, Swiss viewers have had secure access to a wide catalog of adult movies designed in full collaboration with Dorcel, which offers its own content as well as those of more than 50 of the largest international studios it distributes.
The new Naxoo VOD platform, jointly developed with the Genevan company Swiss TV, has faciliated access to more than 2000 titles since Nov. 14.
To get to these programs, Naxoo subscribers have to be equipped with a 2.5 Mo minimum connection and connect their Naxoo One decoder to their Internet modem. Consumers can use an Ethernet cable, free from Naxoo, or an Ethernet adapter kit.
Dorcel has developed a strong command of the VOD space since it began working in it in 2002 with its first On Demand platform. It is now the only turnkey VOD solutions provider (production, aggregation, management). And the network has grown, accessible now on more than 50 VOD platforms (cable, ISP, IPTV).
The partnership with Naxoo extends Dorcel's European VOD offer.
