Kink.com to Hold Premiere Event Tonight for Documentary Series

SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com, formerly CyberNet Entertainment, is inviting members of the press to an exclusive launch party and press conference for “Behind Kink: The Uncensored Documentary Series” tonight at its production studios.

The event will be hosted by Kink.com CEO Peter Rogers.

Shot in various locations, from “San Francisco's largest private dungeon” to Tokyo's secret sex clubs, "Behind Kink” demystifies the taboos of the enigmatic world of fetish and BDSM entertainment.

Revealing a hidden community, the weekly series offers an intimate portrait of sexual exploration among professional models and filmmakers working in the BDSM genre. It is a daily journal about the private lives of people who are often seen as a curiosity to the general public.

The series is shot from an insider’s perspective, revealing how different people in the field approach the subjects of pain, pleasure and their personal sexual boundaries.

“Behind Kink” is the latest in a string of adult entertainment industry documentaries and reality programs, including Showtime's "Family Business," and HBO's "Real Sex," "Pornucopia" and "Thinking XXX" — but is the first to deal specifically with the truths and myths of working in the most misunderstood aspect of the adult entertainment industry as well as the trials and tribulations of professionals in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Members of the press will have opportunities to interview the cast of models, sadists, dominatrixes and production personnel profiled in "Behind Kink." Doors open at 7 p.m. PT on March 30 at the Kink.com production studios in San Francisco.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Christopher Buttner at chris@prthatrocks.com.
