CommerceGate Lands XBIZ Nomination for European Billing Company of the Year

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — After winning Billing Company of the Year — Merchant Services at the 2011 XBIZ Awards, CommerceGate has again been nominated in the billing category in 2012, this time as European Billing Company of the Year.

CommerceGate is a major IPSP and merchant account providers in the U. S. and Europe. The company said it is proud to work with other 2011 award winners such as E.U.-based SEXMoney, Adult Webmaster Empire and Webbiling, as well as U.S.-based companies Twistys, Adult Friendfinder and Video Secrets, among many other successful brands, affiliate programs, websites and studios.

“Last year we were recognized for our success in the United States, particularly with the CommerceGate — DHD Media platform and our Merchant Services, so it is great to be recognized this year for our growing success and market share in Europe as well,” said Bjorn Skarlen, CEO of CommerceGate.

CommerceGate provides the same services and products in Europe as they do in North America: IPSP accounts, direct merchant accounts and payment gateways that maximize their clients’ profits through security, throughput, service and ease of use. With offices in Santa Monica, Miami and Barcelona, CommerceGate brings global billing solutions to webmasters on both sides of the Atlantic.

“We have experienced amazing growth in the U.S., while also expanding faster year by year in the European market,” Skarlen said. “Our merchant clients recognize our experience and a global reach that allows them to grow their success in the U.S. markets as well as those abroad.

“Being nominated for this award after winning the US one last year, confirms that we are the billing company of choice both in North America and in Europe.”

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
