Online Execs Convene at Eurowebtainment

VIENNA — Company reps from more than 30 countries convened earlier this month at Eurowebtainment in Vienna to generate new business contacts and learn about the latest trends and technologies.

Eurowebtainment, now in its 10th year, took place Nov. 2-5 at the Marriott Hotel, attracting scores of industry execs from Intermax, Trodat, Interactive Life Foms, Hot G Vibes, .XXX operator ICM Registry, Fleshlight, SR Online Inc. and First Mobile, among others, who attended speeches, workshops and panel discussions.

One of the standout panels included one targeted for webmasters. That event included as panelists “the Hun” Patrick, Petr Gottvald (Cliphunter), Stefan Geisler (Trion Media), Dirk Küster (666Traders) and Nick Miseur (Callisto-Online).

The show also included MobileWebtainment, which was  presented under the umbrella of the Eurowebtainment for the fifth time, as well as the Business Women’s Lounge, a roundtable moderated by Nicole Kleinhenz (Webmido) and Tanja Rahman (Cam-pay).

Organized by Eurowebtainment Gunnar Steger and team, the show also included a speed-networking "Who's Who" event and for the first time company reps  networked in country lounges, such as the Czech lounge, the Hungarian lounge or the Japanese lounge.

During the evenings, attendees were entertained by several events, including a sexy Burlesque show. There also was a champagne fountain, buffet and a chance to win the latest iPhone, as well as the annual Miss Eurowebtainment contest.

The next Eurowebtainment will take place May 23-26 in Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea.
