LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Supreme Court, which received a petition filed by Private Media Group to stay Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez's Oct. 21, 2010, decision in the Consipio case, said it will impose a quicker deadline to put the case on a faster track.
The justices on Tuesday vacated oral arguments and ordered the parties to file simultaneous answers to the order to show cause by next Wednesday.
Last October's order was relative to the confirmation of Private's voting rights and compel Private to provide former CEO Ilan Bunimovitz with daily cash reports.
Nevada Justices are apparently considering to fold the challenge to another case they may hear relative to the Consipio case.
A Sept. 8 hearing before all seven judges on the court has already been slated.
