Webair Signs ANYwebcam to Hosting Deal

LOS ANGELES — Online video and audio chat giant ANYwebcam.com has signed on to use hosting services from Webair, the company announced Friday.

Australia-based ANYwebcam serves an estimated 2.5 million users worldwide and offers a host of live voice and text chat services for both adult and mainstream affiliates. The company’s packages include a webmaster partner program for dating site operators, community webcam software and a searchable member database of more than two million users.

“ANYwebcam is a global company with millions of users and enormous bandwidth and security demands,” Webair President Michael Christopher said. “In short, they are the ideal Webair client.”

Christopher said the hosting deal also will expand ANYwebcam’s client base, predicting that many existing Webair clients will have use for ANYwebcam’s services.

“The services they provide will be a great solution for some of our existing clients,” he said.

Both companies have seen strong growth in the last year. ANYwebcam, with services in 13 countries, plans to maintain its global expansion, and also hired sex tape guru Kevin Blatt as vice president of marketing less than a week ago.

Like ANYwebcam, Jericho, New York-based Webair is seeking to build its global market share, recently creating a new hosting network in Amsterdam.

Webair’s hosting services range from 2,000 to 10,000 MB of storage, and include unrestricted bandwidth, free shopping carts and unlimited email and domain services. Packages start at around $10 a month.
