WASHINGTON — The International Foundation for Online Responsibility is making a final call for qualified adult industry candidates for nomination to its policy council.
IFFOR, which serves as the independent policy-setting body for ICM Registry and the .XXX domain, has slated a July 5 deadline for applications.
There will be five representatives from various segments of the adult entertainment industry to join four others who will represent privacy and security, child protection, free speech and ICM.
"The IFFOR Policy Council Nominating Committee will give careful consideration to the international scope of IFFOR’s charter," said officials from the Washington-based nonprofit. "As a result, the composition of the policy council will reflect the same international nature in its membership."
IFFOR plans on announcing the policy council members in late August; the group's first meeting will be scheduled for fall.
