SAN FRANCISCO — AEBN, the parent company of Falcon Studios and Raging Stallion Studios, has acquired the assets of Studio 2000 bringing 178 titles to its growing gay adult library.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
While AEBN hasn't made a final decision whether it will continue new production under the brand, Studio 2000's library of DVDs will be made available through the Falcon and Raging Stallion websites.
AEBN said Studio 2000 films are viewable on video-on-demand at AEBN and at NakedSword.com, while scenes also are available at SexGaymes.tv, part of the GunzBlazing affiliate program.
AEBN further said wholesale inquiries should be directed to Paladin Video in Las Vegas.
"Studio 2000 was founded by John Travis and Scott Masters two of the greatest names in porn history," Falcon/Raging Stallion President Chris Ward said. "The catalog of titles contains many fine films, and we are thrilled to add them to our library. Our online and DVD customers will enjoy these excellent films.
“The Studio 2000 library holds some very significant titles, including 'Dream Team.'"
Masters and Travis founded Studio 2000 with the goal of delivering the same high-quality, high-value productions they had pioneered for other studios, according to Ward.
Masters first founded Nova Studios, where he produced and directed a series of best-selling films. He later worked for Catalina as the industry’s first full-time producer, focusing his talents behind the scenes on model and title development.
Travis has directed scores of movies, first at Brentwood, and later for Matt Sterling, Falcon and others.
