Dreamgirl Announces New Executive Team for 2011

LOS ANGELES — Dreamgirl International has announced new members to the Dreamgirl management team to continue to enhance and support the growth in their lingerie and costume businesses.

Dreamgirl CEO Christopher Scharff said he sees huge potential for the company with the influence of seasoned veterans joining forces in 2011 to round out Dreamgirl’s executive committee.

Sussan Feldman is the company’s new senior vice president of merchandising and design. Feldman was the senior vice president of sales and merchandising for Biatta Intimates and served as president of L.A. Intimates, a division of Kellwood, bringing her years of experience to Dreamgirl’s lingerie and costume divisions.

Feldman said that she is excited to head up the entire design and product development process. Her focus is to build upon Dreamgirl’s already strong reputation in the industry with new exciting on-trend product offerings that will appeal to a young, hip consumer, expanding into new channels of retail and seamlessly merchandising existing best sellers into the new visions of the company. She will be working closely with Julie Hunot, vice president of lingerie design and the team of eight design professionals.

Dreamgirl also has tapped Phillipe Brzezinski as director of supply chain and production. Brzezinski brings more than 25 years of experience garnered in the apparel industry as production manager/director of operations. His extensive knowledge of domestic and overseas production includes a strong background in product development, sourcing, purchasing and quality control, which will help Dreamgirl move into new channels of distribution with more competitive pricing.

According to Dreamgirl, his proven ability to develop key relationships with domestic and international suppliers will expand Dreamgirl’s manufacturing capabilities and production growth by expanding the existing factory base into new countries. <[? Thomas Bouloukos has been added to the Dreamgirl team as financial analyst. Bouloukos’s previous work experience consists of four years with KPMG in New York and later with HBO in New York. While at KPMG, he was a member of the Financial Services group specializing in investment banking. While at HBO, he worked within the Consolidations Group where he forecasted EBITDA and Cash Flow. Bouloukos was brought into Dreamgirl to enhance the financial forecasting process, the company said.

Dinh Tran is the new graphic designer for Dreamgirl. Tran has been working in the field of graphic design for 13 years. He has extensive experience in design, packaging and product development for the fashion and consumer goods industries. He brings his expertise from designing and developing products for Disney and Warner Bros. licensing divisions. His primary focus will now be working closely with the executive team at Dreamgirl International on all future branding and marketing endeavors, the company said.

In 2010, Dreamgirl expanded into a 93,000 square foot warehouse facility with increased automated fulfillment and shipping capabilities. Improved supply chain management has enabled the company to introduce products more often and ship faster to retailers, the company said. Utilizing Dreamgirl’s state-of-the-art B2B online platform, customers can log on 24/7/365 to check real time inventory, track PO’s and place orders.

“Our organization continues to execute its business plan across all product categories and in all markets. I am extremely proud of our management, employees, sales representatives, distributors and vendor partners for their dedication and hard work in pursuit of our goals and vision. We are looking forward to an exciting 2011,” Scharff said.
