According to RadarOnline, a police report was filed with the Santa Monica Police Department.
“Joe grabbed the cellphone of a female employee at Mantra Films,” a source said. “The employee was using the phone to send an article to a news outlet about the ‘bad’ things Joe Francis was doing at his company.”
According to the source, after reading what was written on the phone, Francis allegedly became furious.
“Joe came back and physically attacked the female employee and another employee in the accounting department who was visibly pregnant,” the source said. “Joe then fired all involved employees even if they only viewed the attack.”
Sources say two Santa Monica police squad cars responded Friday afternoon to a “disturbance call” at Francis’ company Mantra Films, which produces the “Girls Gone Wild” and “Guys Gone Wild” DVD series.
The police report states that it was a civil dispute accusing Francis of “pushing” female employees who intended to distribute negative press material about Francis.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office told XBIZ it hadn’t received any report involving Joe Francis at post time.
