PHILADELPHIA — Media giant Comcast has decided to rebrand its cable and internet offerings as Xfinity.
The company says it plans to rebrand its products to Xfinity TV, Xfinity Voice and Xfinity Internet. But the company itself will remain Comcast.
“Xfinity represents the future of our company and it’s a promise to customers that we’ll keep innovating,” Comcast said.
The company added the transition is already well underway across the country.
Xfinity is set to roll out in 11 markets including, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and several others in mid Feb.
More markets will be added later in the year.
