Once purchased the movies are permanently available to the customer for unlimited viewing. Customers can burn downloaded movies to a DVD or watch them from their computer. The service is Mac compatible and available on all browsers.
Customers also can choose from pay-per-minute and flat-priced streaming video-on-demand options on the sites.
"Our goal with this new service is to provide our customers with an easy way to view video-on-demand movies offline and on their TV sets," SugarDVD CEO Jax said.
The company said it plans to launch a new movie player and a Sugar set-top box channel by March.
