Badpuppy is a pioneer in the gay adult Internet, having celebrated its tenth anniversary as a membership website in May of this year. The website existed prior as an online BBS.
ASACP Executive Director said that Badpuppy always has operated its business in a professional manner, whether it is insuring that all models appearing on the Badpuppy website are 18 years or older, or ensuring that no adult content can be accessed or viewed by children outside of our Badpuppy member firewall.
AOE/World Telemedia 2005 Aoexpo.com also is supporting the ASACP mission by distributing the ASACP fliers at its upcoming conference and expo in Amsterdam on Nov. 16-18.
"AOE has been very generous," Joan Irvine, executive director of ASACP said. “They offered exhibit space and to include ASACP on a panel. I wish we could attend this conference, but we have limited financial and staff resources. So, all we could do this year was to send ASACP fliers. We are hoping to gain more Sponsors next year. This would allow us to attend a European tradeshow since as is the Internet, child pornography is an international issue. We all need to battle this problem.”
ASACP is the organization that helps the adult website industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography. In addition to its hotline, ASACP provides a self-regulatory vehicle for its members through a Code of Ethics that promotes the protection of children through responsible, professional business practices. ASACP has been named to the 2005 Associations Advance America Honor Roll, a national awards competition sponsored by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Washington, D.C.
