FSC, NakedSword Kick Off Rebranding Drive

SAN FRANCISCO — Video-on-demand network NakedSword.com has announced details of a rebranding campaign and marketing partnership with the Free Speech Coalition.

The adult biz advocacy org has been given a redesigned logo and had its official website revamped.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship. NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti also serves as vice president of the FSC Board of Directors.

"NakedSword is proud to contribute to the FSC by leveraging its marketing expertise to an important organization that pools business resources, builds consensus within the industry and advocates on behalf of adult distributors, producers and stores across the nation," said Jack Shamama, site product manager.

"NakedSword has gone beyond porn with this ongoing partnership to reaffirm its commitment to the industry at large."

FSC Executive Director Diane Duke said NakedSword has been "instrumental" in bringing the trade organization "into the 21st Century."

"When the FSC goes to D.C. and Sacramento in our lobbying efforts, having a professional image is paramount," she said. "With the new tools that NakedSword has created for us, we are able to deliver our message from a much more solid foundation and gain the respect that this industry deserves."

Shamama told XBIZ the rebranding campaign has been in the works for over a year. "Members of our marketing, design and web development team have lent their expertise and time to do a comprehensive retooling of the FSC brand," he said.

"We designed their new logo and rebuilt their website from scratch. We've also helped conceptualize and design their new ads, which we will continue to do."

An advertising campaign titled "The Changing Face of Adult" premieres this month. "The campaign highlights the diverse nature of the people working in the adult industry," Shamama said.

"It's been very fun and rewarding and I'm proud of the work we've done. We're glad to find time for such a good cause."
