Pink Visual Responds to Super Bowl Porn Clip Rumors

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Adult studio Pink Visual has responded to reports of its affiliation with the adult footage that interrupted the Super Bowl, claiming that the footage was not a company production.

The footage was part of "Wild Cherries 5," a production of adult studio Fusxion playing on Shorteez, a Playboy channel, and Pink Visual said it "had nothing whatsoever to do with the interruption."

"We aren't James Bond villains," said Kim Kysar, brand and product manager for Pink Visual. "We don't have any desire to take over anybody else's broadcast, much less the technical capability to do so, and we don't advocate exposing viewers to pornography without warning and consent."

The rumors of Pink Visual's involvement, reportedly made by several media outlets, arose after Pink Visual responded to the game interruption on Feb. 4, offering $10 off some of its websites and mobile sites to customers who type in promo code "pornbowl."

"Our promotion was simply a wink playing off the Comcast offer, and making light of the whole situation," Kysar said. "While the incident was regrettable, we felt there was humor to be found in it, and an opportunity to expose our content to a new audience, naturally."

The discount applies to standard adult sites PinkVisualPass.com and MaleSpectrumPass.com, as well as mobile sites iPinkVisualPass.com and iMaleSpectrumPass.com. The offer is valid through March 6.
