It's very freeing to watch Vanniall and Ashley just accept and please each other after listening to Vanniall's struggle. Sure, there's absolutely a sense of arousal there, but there's an emotional weight present as well. As the audience, you're just watching two people comfortable in their own skin acting on their lust for someone else equally comfortable in their own skin. Whew, powerful stuff!

The thing that resonated with me about Angelina's story was how supportive her family was and how important that support was to her. So many times, we hear about trans people feeling utterly alone because their family cannot come to terms with their reality, but that wasn't Angelina's story. Instead, her story culminated in an attempted murder that's thwarted by fellow citizens who care more about her safety than about how she might be different than them. It's inspirational in a completely different way because it shows us all how we can be allies to those who are different than us. As for the sex, it's quite hot.
