What did you do for a living before working in the adult industry?
Typical, boring office work.
Get ready to be smack dab in the middle of a boys club.
What's your favorite part about working at GameLink?
Working with all the great people that I do, both here at GameLink and in the biz.
Do you think pay-per-view VOD will develop into the dominant method of purchasing online adult content in the years ahead?
Ah, the question on everyone's mind. It already has to a certain extent, however one must consider that the VOD customer, and the actual hard-good customer are two different animals. While DVD sales have taken a dive for everyone in the biz, personally I do not feel that they will ever go away. They will just continue to take a back-seat to the various opinions that a customer has at his fingertips online when it comes to adult-content-viewing options on the Internet.
How big a problem do you think content piracy is for the industry — is it a major problem, a minor nuisance or somewhere in between?
It's somewhere in between. I am happy that the industry is going after the people involved in pirating their content, however it's definitely an uphill battle that will get worse as time goes on and technology moves forward.
What advice do you have for women just getting started (as something other than talent/performer) in the adult industry?
Get ready to be smack dab in the middle of a boys club. While women in this business are not rare by any means, men still run this industry on the business end and it takes a unique type of woman to be taken seriously and to move forward with whatever goals she may have.
