Girthmasterr Talks Booming Career, Viral Fame

Girthmasterr and his two older sisters were raised by their single mother in a small town in Australia. When not hanging out with his friends, he spent a lot of time fishing on the Great Barrier Reef, swimming in local bodies of water and hiking.

He gave university studies a shot, but realized it was not the right fit for him at the time and spent the next 10 years working all sorts of jobs — until eventually he decided to monetize his love for exhibitionism.

My intention when making porn is to create videos that I would watch myself, ranging from mild to wild.

Over the years, he had been showing himself off on Tumblr in spicy ways, and was hooked on posting naughty content to Reddit and Twitter. Then in 2022, a friend with an OnlyFans discovered his Twitter profile and encouraged Girthmasterr to create an OnlyFans as well.

He soon snowballed from solo content to collaborating with fellow creators in Australia and around the world, amassing a legion of fans and recently ascending the throne as 2024 XBIZ Male Premium Social Media Star of the Year.

Now, as this month’s XBIZ cover star, Girthmasterr reveals his strategies for success, his bestselling content and his future aspirations.

XBIZ: How have you grown as a person and businessman since becoming a creator?

GIRTHMASTERR: Becoming a content creator required me to call on all of the skills and abilities that I’ve learned throughout my entire life, most importantly the skill of always learning and being open to wearing any hat necessary to do a good job. I run everything myself, including my OnlyFans and social media pages, as well as my own booking, touring and PR. I’ve become entirely independent and in charge of my own time and schedule, which has allowed me to put more time into my own creative endeavors, as well as spend quality time with my family.

XBIZ: Talk about the content you’re best known for, in terms of its visual style, onscreen acts and the vibe you aim for.

GIRTHMASTERR: As my name implies, I’m best known for the size of my dick and my many fans love to see how their favorite porn women can handle it! I shoot nearly everything myself using a combination of POV and static shots so that the viewer can see the best angles of the action. My intention when making porn is to create videos that I would watch myself, ranging from mild to wild. Some of my scenes are gentle and show the intimacy of the moment, while others are hardcore, showing nonstop action.

XBIZ: How do you approach collabs to ensure everyone is happy with the outcome?

GIRTHMASTERR: I approach collabs with professionalism. Every collab starts with a message saying, “Heya, I’d love to shoot with you if you’re open to it,” and I never try flirting unless they initiate it. I set everything up to make sure the women I’m shooting with are comfortable by providing anything they might need before or after the shoot, such as wet wipes, makeup wipes, hair ties, mouthwash, etc. as well as a range of snacks and sealed beverages. Most importantly, before the shoot, we have a discussion about consent and boundaries to ensure we’re both comfortable with everything that will happen while shooting. After shooting, we’ll sometimes skim through the footage to get a preview before I edit and send them the scene.

XBIZ: Discuss your strategy for social media marketing and how you stay on top of posts, fan interactions, etc.

GIRTHMASTERR: Social media is the most important aspect of being a content creator. Without marketing yourself, you cannot build a fan base, no matter how great the content you’re producing is! Because many social media platforms are anti-porn, you need to diversify your approach across many platforms in case an account gets deleted.

X.com is great for building a large audience and posting your short-form content like a portfolio; it’s LinkedIn for porn people. When learning a new social media platform, I study the biggest creators/brands on the platform. How often do they post? Do they post photos or videos? What kind of content is it? Do they interact with fans directly? You have to tailor your approach to each platform uniquely, since what goes viral on TikTok won’t always go viral on Twitter — and can even hurt your engagement.

XBIZ: When you’re not working, what are some of your hobbies or favorite relaxation activities?

GIRTHMASTERR: When I’m not working, I spend most of my time with my family and friends from outside of the industry. I like hiking, fishing, seeing live music and I’ve recently been learning how to sail.

XBIZ: As your popularity and audience grew, how did you handle scaling up without getting overwhelmed?

GIRTHMASTERR: Since creating my OnlyFans, I’ve always given everything I have to succeed in the industry. When I started, I was working full-time in an office, then going home and working until midnight every night. After a year of juggling both jobs, I quit my day job to focus all of my time and attention on content creation. In the past, I’ve been no stranger to working 60 to 80 hours a week and this is no different. The workload is immense but the reward is great enough that I’m able to continue working so much without burning out. There’s been a lot to learn and I’ve learned most of it on the fly through trial and error and not being afraid to try new things!

XBIZ: What was it like being named Male Premium Social Media Star of the Year at the 2024 XBIZ Creator Awards?

GIRTHMASTERR: To be honest, my memory of the minutes right after hearing my name announced is all in flashes. Standing in front of a crowd of all of my peers, receiving an award to recognize the hard work I’ve put in, was overwhelming and made it all seem so worthwhile. The trophy will look great on my shelf and I can’t wait to display it proudly.

XBIZ: Tell us about your main ambitions for the upcoming year.

GIRTHMASTERR: This year, I want to buy my mum a house and continue learning how to sail. Professionally, I’ve not only achieved but far exceeded all of my goals, so I’ll need some time to come up with some new ones for the coming year! For the time being, I’m processing the incredible virality I’ve had over the last month and focusing on delivering high-quality content to my fans.
