How to Put on a 'Voyeur' Cam Show

How to Put on a 'Voyeur' Cam Show

Every time you do your makeup, style your hair, take a shower or just run errands without featuring it on cam, you’re missing out on what could potentially be a great show and earning opportunity. I’m not suggesting that you shouldn’t ever take a break from the cam model life! But you can actually create more free time for yourself if you incorporate your regular day-to-day activities into your cam shows. Oftentimes even the most mundane activities can make for the perfect cam show — especially if you center them around the voyeuristic illusion.

Voyeurism is a fetish that’s on the rise, as fans experience sexual gratification from observing “unsuspecting” people, usually while they perform sexual acts. Use this to your advantage by putting on a voyeur-style cam show. After all, live cams already have a strong element of voyeurism, since users are getting off on watching people get naughty on screen, but you can heighten and exploit that sense of voyeurism even more.

The key is treating your viewers like friends and having them hang out with you while you get ready or do other chores.

The key is treating your viewers like friends and having them hang out with you while you get ready or do other chores. However, even conveying a sense of casual spontaneity requires preparation. Here are some planning tips for tapping into voyeur-style camming.

Let Fans Know in Advance

Letting your viewers know in advance that you will be putting on a voyeur-style show is the best way to ensure an audience. There are plenty of people with this fetish, so if you announce a “voyeur day,” they might mark it down on their calendars.

If your cam site allows you to promote cam schedules, put the word out. Some sites enable you to build custom panels for show schedules or show announcements. These will be displayed in your profile, visible to everyone. You can also add something to your bio to build further excitement.

Incorporate Tip Goals

When it comes to voyeur shows, creative experimentation is key. However, one formula that never fails is incorporating tip goals. Once the first goal is reached and you perform the corresponding activity, it’s time to aim for the next one. Try adapting this to your usual routines and making them tip goals. For instance, the first goal can be fans getting to watch you make breakfast topless. The second can be watching you shower, and the third can be watching you do your hair, makeup or nails once you’re clean.

Other activity ideas to feature in your voyeur show could include performing a solo dance, cooking an elaborate meal, reading an erotic story aloud and of course a cum show. For the latter, consider incorporating something that genuinely turns you on or gets you in the mood. This way, viewers will feel like they’re watching an authentic solo sex session.

Take It Outside

Another awesome alternative is taking your show to the street. Maybe you can put on a sex show inside your car, try on clothes inside a shop’s fitting room or do yoga naked in your backyard if you have one. Those are all situations nobody could have access to unless they were spying on you, which makes them ideal for a voyeur show. Just make sure you don’t violate public nudity or indecency laws, or let anyone under 18 see you.

Make Use of Your Angles

A great technique to use during your show is setting up multiple cams in different spots — you can use OBS — so that the variety of angles makes the stream more interesting for viewers. Use your angles wisely. If you’re taking a shower and want to create a voyeuristic experience for your audience, place the camera behind the slightly opened door so that it creates the illusion of watching through the crack. Likewise, if you’re just playing with yourself in your bedroom, place the camera inside the closet, pointed through an opening in the door.

Even though the goal is to seem natural and unselfconscious, it’s still important to appear presentable on cam, so don’t show up looking like you just rolled out of bed. You can still rock the makeup-free face and morning hair; just do it in a hygienic-looking way.

To Interact or Not to Interact

There’s an ongoing debate about whether models should interact with viewers or not during this type of show. That kind of interaction could detract from the realism of the voyeur experience, and you don’t want viewers to feel like you’re just putting on a show instead of living your life. In spite of that concern, though, I still recommend that you not ignore users completely.

Here’s where tip goals come in handy. When you perform the tip goal activity, you’re already interacting with users by responding to their tips. You can even mouth a silent “thank you” whenever they tip you. Find the sweet spot of not shifting your focus completely away from the chat, while maintaining the illusion that you don’t know you’re being watched. It’s up to you if you want to go further and interact more with your audience; just make sure you’re focused on the tasks at hand.

Last but not least, don’t forget to have fun! You’re basically being paid to live your life. What better deal could there be than that?
