Q&A: Esluna Love Channels Heartfelt Sensuality With an Edge

Q&A: Esluna Love Channels Heartfelt Sensuality With an Edge

Esluna Love is highly enthusiastic about her career in the adult industry, which encompasses camming, content creation and shooting for major producers like Erika Lust. Much of her vibrancy and pluck stems from growing up in an accepting environment where she was encouraged to explore her every whim and interest.

“From a young age, I was interested in finding myself and the answer to the question: ‘Who am I in this world?’” she shares. “I loved to experiment with different fashion styles, try out new hobbies and pursue new interests, all with the purpose of discovering what I like and what feels most like me.”

My style is really an expression of myself as a human being.

Reflecting on those early years, Love feels blessed that her family supported her in every decision she made, even when her choices were impulsive. Then, a couple of years ago, she began pursuing her bachelor’s degree in dance, which led her to discover pole dancing. When a photographer discovered her at a competitive event, they agreed to do a shoot together, setting her modeling career in motion.

“After doing dance, lingerie, nude and erotic photo shoots for a while, my social media following grew as more and more people discovered me,” she notes. “I was eventually contacted by what I considered to be an ethical and professional adult content company, which led me to a career in the industry. Not long after, I started camming and creating my own content. Now here I am, feeling so grateful!”

Ultimately, what inspired her to enter the adult industry was the chance to express herself as a sexual and creative woman. Through a variety of mediums, she unabashedly embraces that sexual spark with authenticity, exploring new opportunities as they come her way. Now, as Cam Star of the Month, she shares her thoughts and experiences, chronicling her journey towards ever-more-promising horizons.

XBIZ: How have you evolved over time as a cam model?

LOVE: Before I started with camming, I did a lot of research, reading interviews and articles about camming. But I also watched streams of other models on different adult platforms and that really helped me. I did not copy them, of course, but I did look at their behavior and surroundings. What kind of lights did they use? What did they have in the background? Did they use music? How did they react to tips?

What also made me more experienced as a cam model was streaming with other models and talking about our craft, or sharing tips and tricks with each other. Experience is the key! Practice and practice and practice communicating with your viewers in the room.

XBIZ: Which platform is your favorite to stream on and why?

LOVE: My favorite platform to stream on is definitely IsLive.com. The support team is always there to help with any problems that you have as a model. The site is so easy to use as well, and it is one of the most popular webcam sites in the Netherlands. When I am livestreaming on IsLive, the viewers in my cam room are always so kind and sweet. They are always in the mood to play and tip.

What I also like is that the team at IsLive is like a family; everyone knows each other and they are always ready to help. One of the great examples is when my toy was defective, they immediately sent me a new toy the next day. That makes working for IsLive such a blessing. I also think that the website is going to blow sky-high because of the new features that are coming soon.

XBIZ: Describe your brand as far as your style, personality and vibe.

LOVE: My style is really an expression of myself as a human being. I am myself always: colorful, pink, kind, dominant, ambitious, imaginative and creative, while also sexual and a little bit crazy. What I wear on a given day really shows how I feel at that moment and in my daily life, not only on cam but also in my videos.

I also always love being a bit different, rather than a typical cam model. I am not afraid to try out new things or experiences. When people see me, they see my red hair, small figure and collection of tattoos, which may make them think, “Wow, she must be really dominant or bitchy.” While I can be, when they actually talk to me, I can give off a really sweet vibe. I just love the contrast so that I can be all of me, with every vibe and side. But always, I never forget that I am a businesswoman first and foremost!

XBIZ: What other sites do you create content on and how do you juggle responsibilities?

LOVE: To start with, I do everything myself, from creating/editing my content to promoting it by talking to my fans and using social media. I also hired an assistant and I am so lucky, because that was the best decision I ever made. I plan my days ahead of time to be as productive as possible. I work when I travel by train, for example, to save time.

Because I am on so many platforms — like OnlyFans where I have a VIP and free page, FanCentro, F2F, ManyVids, Loyalfans and iWantClips — I always make sure that I have a lot of content to schedule, so that when I have a day that I am traveling or working for professional porn productions or when I am sick or tired, there is content uploaded to my sites.

Planning is really key to deal with so many responsibilities. But despite all that I do each year, it doesn’t feel like enough, so I just started a business with a friend called “Lekker Cut.” It is going to be a podcast and YouTube channel about sex work and the adult industry in general, so who knows what next year will bring?

XBIZ: Talk about your hobbies when you're not working. Any unique talents or passions?

LOVE: When I was younger, I did gymnastics, competing at a high level. After that, I started with dancing and pole dancing, but since I’m nowhere near as skilled as I was a couple of years ago, now one of my hobbies is taking care of my plants.

I also shop and thrift a lot, reselling my clothes, shoes and bags. Other favorite pastimes besides my work are reading, getting my nails done, hanging out with friends, eating out, watching movies, going to the theater, watching dance performances, visiting a museum, traveling, doing photography and gaming. I do not think I have any other unique talents or attributes — other than being really clumsy as a person!

XBIZ: What career milestones are you most proud of having achieved so far?

LOVE: I am proud that I can do what I love full-time. I get to travel for work and collaborate with performers amazing productions; that makes me so proud. But if I need to choose more specific milestones, I’d say I’m proud that my second-ever porn performance was for Erika Lust; I even got tattooed for the movie, which was a magical experience. Then in 2021 I was nominated as Rising Cam Star for the XBIZ Cam Awards. Also, my first time working for Joybear, my photo was chosen to be on the cover; that was so cool! And I am super proud that I have two businesses now.

XBIZ: How do you handle social media marketing?

LOVE: My social media is practically a full-time job, but because I am such a perfectionist and I love social media, I do it myself. When I wake up, I check all my socials, answer important DMs and reply to comments. Then, later on in the day, I post new content and reply to comments again. On Instagram, I post daily stories and interactive ones too. I post photos on my feed multiple times a month. However, I do not post more often on my feed because I am super critical of my content.

I am super careful overall with promoting my adult sites on Instagram because of the TOS. I use Instagram mostly for my daily life and results of photo shoots. On Twitter, I post trailers of my own content and trailers of professional productions I worked for, with a minimum of one tweet a day. I also have TikTok and Clapper, where I try to post every day too. Lastly, I have Reddit, where I post a photo once or twice a week. To give my sites and socials a boost, I do a shoutout-for-shoutout two or three times a month with other creators or I buy a promo when the creator has a really big account. It just helps with boosting my reach.

XBIZ: Discuss a "typical" day on cam. What kind of activities do your fans love and how would you describe your chat room overall?

LOVE: It really depends on my mood that day. When I am in the mood for an active stream, I do a workout with my sex toy. Or when I am in a fun mood, I get my spinning wheel and play games with my fans. I stream standing, sitting or just chilling in bed.

For me, the most important thing is that I do whatever feels good that day. Having fun makes the time fly by and fans see that, tipping more when you are doing your best to be creative and active. My cam room is always fun and chill, filled with funny moments. Let’s not forget, of course, that I strive to be hot. It is always different, though, with my cam room!

XBIZ: What are your goals for this upcoming year?

LOVE: My goals are making my two businesses bigger and more profitable, working as a porn performer for more professional productions, working in the U.S., getting nominated for more awards, and let’s not forget about staying healthy and happy.
