Twenty-eight-year-old Troy Francisco is more than a creator. He is a presence, an online companion and an experience. He even calls himself an erotic poet, given his devotion to crafting authentic content with passionate, well-lit artistry and palpable chemistry.
And when he isn’t filming a bevy of beautiful babes at a variety of elegant locations, Francisco is on set shooting for the majors, booked through the OC Modeling agency.

With more than 100 scenes already under his belt since he first got his start three years ago, for studios that encompass award-winning brands like Deeper.com, Adult Time, Jules Jordan Video, Blacked and Bang — to name a few — Francisco balances the demands of studio and indie work.
Now he’s ramping up for the debut of his creator platform, The Experience, with which he hopes to empower other talent by providing a variety of features touted as being “by creators, for creators.”
His fan base is also one of the most engaged audiences for a fresh male star, with his 356,000 followers on Twitter eager to catch a glimpse of the latest clip and behind-the-scenes insights, interacting frequently with the suave stud. XBIZ: What led you to the adult industry?
FRANCISCO: It was back in 2019 when I decided to join the adult industry. I had been contacted by a talent scout via social media, but I originally declined because I was in a relationship at the time.
Eventually, that relationship ended and I attended a party with the scout to see if he was the real deal. I ended up meeting the guys that owned a glory-hole porn company and some other adult performers that I recognized. Soon enough, I got booked for a scene on my birthday, before signing the next day with the OC Modeling agency. From there, the rest is history.
XBIZ: How have you evolved, personally and professionally, since joining the biz?
FRANCISCO: I feel like I’m a completely different person from when I first started in the industry. These last few years have been very pivotal in the way that I think, and how I perceive people. I’ve also been sober for three years and ever since I decided to do that, I have been able to really focus on the things that matter for me, such as my family and my businesses.
XBIZ: What is the “Troy Francisco” brand in a nutshell, as far as your vibe, personality and content style?
FRANCISCO: My persona is passionate and intense. My content style is authentic and aesthetically pleasing. I want my fans to feel what I feel through the screen.
XBIZ: How do you handle marketing on social media given your frequent interactions with fans?
FRANCISCO: It’s a full-time job being able to keep up with my fans. I want to be able to maintain a consistent online presence, which means interacting with fans and constantly posting fresh content to keep them engaged. I want them to be able to feel as though they truly have access to me.
XBIZ: Discuss the ways your indie shooting has improved over time in terms of gear, techniques and editing?
FRANCISCO: I first started with a ring light, then slowly started adding more colored LED lights until I knew how to light my shoots correctly. It’s all about learning how to create a well-lit scene. Technique-wise I’m way better at POV with my knowledge of angles and general positioning that is optimal to get specific shots. I’m much more creative with my photography now than I was when I started, as well. Editing-wise, I upgraded my apps and use Videoleap now.
XBIZ: What is your approach to collaborations with other talent, ensuring business and boundaries are respected?
FRANCISCO: Communication is huge in asking what the talent likes and does not like. It’s also especially important to ask what their fans like and don’t like, so we can create compelling content that will sell well for them. Promo-wise, some people want me to post certain things and don’t want me to post other things, because we all market ourselves differently.
XBIZ: As a studio-shot performer, how do you manage your time and energy between pro scenes and indie work?
FRANCISCO: I definitely do a blend of both; I’ll try to do my own stuff when I’m not doing mainstream shoots. But I’m always working, so if I’m not shooting for studios or for myself, I’m usually editing or prepping for more work on and off set.
XBIZ: What were a few of your most successful endeavors in 2021?
FRANCISCO: 2021 was the most successful year for me in the sense that I’ve made the most money since I started in the industry, and got more awards than I did the previous year. Building my site has definitely been the most rewarding, though, and getting my new house. I’m just grateful for the continued opportunities in this industry, honestly.
XBIZ: Any unique talents or fun hobbies not related to work in adult?
FRANCISCO: I’ve done jiu-jitsu since I was 19 years old and it has been my favorite sport. I also play video games and take hikes in nature whenever I have some spare time away from working.
XBIZ: What’s next for you in 2022 and beyond, as far as your goals?
FRANCISCO: This year I will be launching my creator platform, The Experience, which I am excited to get out to the public. I’ve been working on it since August 2020.
