Q&A: AliceBong Takes Throne as XBIZ Europas Clip Artist of the Year

From neon-lit seduction with color-popping wigs to moodily atmospheric artistry in a slippery bathtub, AliceBong channels her experimental and attention-grabbing content like a hybrid cosplayer/arthouse aficionado.

By turns funky princess and alluring elven nympho, the 2021 XBIZ Europas Clip Artist of the Year can tap into her kaleidoscope of creativity like an inspiration faucet ready to gush for a super-engaged fan base.

At the moment, five people are helping me with my work; this gives me the opportunity to maintain my mental and physical health, while enjoying the filming process and being better prepared.

She can get dark and simmering, but she definitely prefers her visuals bright and vibrant, whether it’s delivering phone-shot amateur solo content or highly produced girl/ girl videos, as well as fiery boy/girl footage with her hubby.

And when it comes to marketing those adorable ahegao facial expressions with her playful pink tongue ready and waiting, few can perch expectantly with feline grace like AliceBong, whose ManyVids popularity has her flirting with Top 50 MV Girl rankings on the regular. Meanwhile, her OnlyFans content is definitely aiming for a headshot — plus the heart and the nether regions, with more than 205,000 likes across 1,300-plus posts.

Channeling so many shapeshifting personas with sincerity and enthusiasm is no small feat, which is why AliceBong wears the crown with royal aplomb. Now, get to know her deeper than ever, in this exclusive Creator of the Month interview.

XBIZ: What inspired you to join the adult industry?

AliceBong: I have always been inspired by the naked female body and unusual looks. At first, I started out as a nude content photographer. I really enjoyed it, but I ran into a lot of problems when looking for models. At that time, I was only 18 years old and without experience.

So, I decided to pursue my creative ideas in the role of a model, and this intersected with my cosplaying hobby. My husband became my personal photographer and helped me to realize my fantasies. I was really into it and I soon discovered a huge variety of opportunities in the world of porn. Looking back, I think I’ve always been drawn to this industry.

XBIZ: How has your content creation improved over the years, in terms of technology and shooting techniques?

AliceBong: If we compare our first videos to what we are shooting now, it’s like comparing Earth to heaven. During the two years we’ve been shooting porn, I’ve always wanted to show my personality, with high-quality images. To do this, I had to improve my competence in the field of working with light, working with technical equipment, etc. My husband and I started working with a professional cameraman to help bring our ideas to life. We also desired to make each video different from the previous one. I think we are still continually evolving our approach to producing interesting content and making unique decisions.

XBIZ: Which platforms do you release new scenes on and what kind of videos do fans purchase the most?

AliceBong: First of all, ever since we discovered ManyVids, we’ve been uploading our videos there to this day, actively using the platform. But it is also convenient for my fans to watch videos on my personal OnlyFans page, along with personal chatting. This makes the process extra fun and I also noticed that most people like my videos with my husband. In such videos, you can see more passion. I think it excites a lot of people.

XBIZ: How do you stay organized, keeping up with all your shoots, editing, distribution and marketing?

AliceBong: I had to learn how to plan my days. It helps a lot to be productive and not to miss the taste for life. I also had to delegate some of my responsibilities. At the moment, five people are helping me with my work; this gives me the opportunity to maintain my mental and physical health, while enjoying the filming process and being better prepared.

XBIZ: Discuss how you approach collaborations with other performers in terms of coming up with ideas, negotiating payments or content trades, as well as making sure everyone’s boundaries are respected on set.

AliceBong: First of all, I get to know a person to understand if we are suitable for each other. It is very important for me that cooperation brings pleasure and fun, not torment. If everything went well after this introductory stage, then we brainstorm ideas as they come to our minds, before jointly deciding how to implement them. It is also easy to discuss the cost of the video. The price should suit every creator.

Before the start of filming, we discuss all the things that are permissible during sex, to ensure consensual work. Then, both myself and my co-star can more fully enjoy the shoot.

XBIZ: You have produced a very large library of content and have lots of followers on various platforms. How did you grow so fast without becoming overwhelmed?

AliceBong: Thanks! I had different stages in my relationship with work. Not all of them are positive. I struggled with burnout and learned not to blame myself for the rest. With experience, I came to understand that it is not necessary to take all the tasks on myself, that asking for help is not something to be ashamed about. Now, I have better mental health and am getting plenty of rest. This helps me experience more pleasure during shoots and be better prepared. I love my job and try to take breaks when necessary, so as not to lose interest.

XBIZ: Let’s talk about premium social media, such as your OnlyFans. How often do you post photos or videos on your feed? What kind of content attracts the most likes and purchases? How do you make sales in the DMs?

AliceBong: I post photos and videos on my OnlyFans page almost every day. Sometimes I even post too much! My solo content gets the most likes in my feed, with photos and videos taken from my phone the most frequently bought. It creates an atmosphere of privacy between me and my fans. I really love making high-quality cosplay photos, so I post them too. In DMs, I send widespread messages to all fans, telling them about a new video or sharing an older one that may have been forgotten after a long time. Most people also like older content as well!

XBIZ: What is the “AliceBong” brand, if you had to describe your overall fashion, content aesthetic and personality?

AliceBong: I love everything bright and shiny, haha. I’m happier if there are more colors. I also like to try on the roles of characters that I like and create unique images. This provides a constant sense of novelty in the process and makes preparation more exciting. I also love using makeup, changing outfits and doing everything brightly; my fanaticism for bright lighting is a whole separate story. Now, I can implement a huge number of my crazy ideas with the extra help I have. It’s exciting and makes me happy!

XBIZ: What was it like winning Clip Artist of the Year at the 2021 XBIZ Europa Awards?

AliceBong: It was unexpected and very pleasant! I was surprised that I was even nominated beforehand and that’s why I didn’t even expect to win the award, so the feeling of recognition of my hard work is worth a lot! I am very grateful to those who supported me and no doubt believed in victory. Thank you very much.

XBIZ: Any big plans for the future, in your career and personal life, as we enter a new year?

AliceBong: Next year, I would like to meet more interesting people from the industry. I want to do collaboration projects with many models too. Undoubtedly, I will work more on improving our video content, making them more exciting and beautiful. I would like to travel a lot and experience positive moments in my personal life next to my friends and family!
