Q&A: XBIZ Best Male Premium Social Media Star Reno Gold Arises

Q&A: XBIZ Best Male Premium Social Media Star Reno Gold Arises

Reno Gold is a man of few words. After all, his impressive repertoire of stylish fashion, fan-engaging hijinks and killer content speaks volumes. With a combined Twitter and Instagram following of more than 600,000 avid enthusiasts watching this Floridian’s every move and gleeful grin, Gold has… well… struck gold.

In addition to sporting around 350K likes on OnlyFans and renting out the seven condos he owns, he recently scored big at the 2021 XBIZ Cam Awards where he won Best Male Premium Social Media Star.

Dashingly garbed in a mesh shirt and tuxedo jacket as he leaned forward with just the right camera angle to capture his artful swagger, the newly crowned royal proclaimed, “This means the world to me,” before thanking his parents “for giving me a big dick.”

I mean, if a man cannot relish crass wickedness with a wolfish grin and expensive clothes, what’s the point in achieving enviable levels of success?

Gold is also a bona fide philanthropist, having raised $27K for the Elton John AIDS Foundation in a week. There’s little doubt he is always eager to share his hardwon largesse as much as his hardened largeness.

And he is eyeing a future filled with directorial ambitions in the world of studio-shot porn, as well as a full-fledged Shopify store, where he endeavors to unleash all manner of mercenary and mercantile mayhem.

XBIZ strode down the throne room’s red carpet, spotlighting this Clip Star of the Month in all his splendor and splashing the written canvas with the likeness of a likeable star adept at applying the golden touch.

XBIZ: Tell us a bit about your background and what inspired you to join the adult industry.

GOLD: I’ve always been an exhibitionist, so going into adult work just seemed natural. I started out as a stripper, then webcam model. Now that I’ve found OnlyFans, it’s all I do.

XBIZ: How have you evolved as a content creator since your first few months?

GOLD: My content is much higher quality and I book four new locations a month, as well as shoot many more duo scenes with other talent.

XBIZ: What is the Reno Gold "brand" in a nutshell, as far as your vibe, style and personality?

GOLD: I think my brand is basically being that best friend you fantasized about hooking up with. I show my personality just as much as I do my body. I’ve also made it a point to give back to the community and did a fundraiser for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which raised $27K in a week!

XBIZ: How do you juggle the demands of monetizing a growing fan base, as far as time management?

GOLD: I used to do all my own editing for pictures and videos for OnlyFans, You- Tube and Instagram, but I’ve since outsourced my editing, which has freed up a lot of time so I can focus on messaging with fans and filming more.

XBIZ: Discuss what other revenue streams you pursue beyond OnlyFans, such as your upcoming Shopify venture.

GOLD: I’m launching my own website very soon, which will be a paysite and host all of my adult content. I also own seven condos I rent out. I make money on YouTube as well.

XBIZ: Share your approach to social media marketing across a variety of platforms.

GOLD: It’s about being consistent and posting every day. I always promote my new scenes by having different previews made for Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and Twitter.

XBIZ: What kind of content do your fans engage with the most on your feed?

GOLD: I think my fans really like my solo content when I’m in crazy locations. One time, I hiked 15 miles to the top of a mountain and did a full scene on the top with lots of drone shots.

XBIZ: Break down the posting frequency and pricing of your photos, clips and longer videos. Is there a method to the madness, or is much of it freestyle?

GOLD: I post a new picture every day and one new solo scene a week that’s included in my $14.99 membership. I sell duo scenes for an additional $5 to $16 depending on what I’m doing and I release about two of those a month. I also do custom videos for $100 a minute and webcam shows for $200 a minute.

XBIZ: What was it like winning Best Premium Social Media Star at the 2021 XBIZ Cam Awards?

GOLD: It was amazing. I feel so excited and blessed to have this new bragging right.

XBIZ: Give us a glimpse of what's on the horizon for the rest of this year, professionally and personally.

GOLD: I’m launching my own paysite and I’m looking to break into the studio porn world with my new venture as a director.
