Self-Care Tips for Camming While Pregnant

Self-Care Tips for Camming While Pregnant

Pregnant women are sexy. You may not always feel sexy, but there's a reason why a nude and very pregnant Demi Moore stopped the world with her Vanity Fair cover in 1991. From the glow of your skin to the ever-changing curves of your body, you radiate sex appeal. So, it comes as no surprise that the pregnancy niche is exploding on cam platforms everywhere.

While some women decide to take time off during pregnancy, many others choose to continue working for various reasons. Maybe you enjoy it, or perhaps you want to take advantage of customers who tip handsomely because the pool of pregnant models is generally much smaller than other niches. Either way, there are many benefits to camming while pregnant aside from the extra income. Your hormones make orgasms more intense, for example, and the increased sensitivity and pressure in your pelvic region make it easier to squirt (seriously)!

Yes, camming while pregnant is perfectly safe as long as your doctor gives you the green light.

Still, it's important to remember that taking care of yourself always comes first. Here are some ways to prioritize self-care for working moms-to-be.

CARE DOWN THERE

Yes, camming while pregnant is perfectly safe as long as your doctor gives you the green light. Your body is going through a lot, though, so you may experience more swelling in your private areas than usual during and after a shift. The most important thing to remember is to take a break if you feel uncomfortable and apply cold packs to bring the swelling down. You should also stand up periodically to keep your blood flowing and kick those pretty feet up whenever possible.

SANITIZE YOUR TOYS REGULARLY

You can safely use most sex toys during pregnancy unless your doctor tells you otherwise, but keep in mind that sterilizing your tools of the trade is essential now more than ever. Sanitize your toys after every shift with mild soap and warm water, and dry them with a clean towel. Then, store them in a silk bag or sex toy case where they won't be exposed to any germs or bacteria floating around the air. If your toys are made from sturdy materials like Pyrex or stainless steel, you can go a step further and boil them in plain water or run them through the dishwasher (sans detergent) on the top rack.

PERSONAL GROOMING

You can wax while pregnant, but your growing belly can make it increasingly harder to do on your own. Instead, pamper yourself by going to a salon with all the proper safety protocols in place and let them handle it while you sit back and relax. The same goes for pedicures, as once you pass your second trimester, it can be hard to polish your own toes. Don't forget to spring for the extra foot/leg massage, too, as that can feel like absolute magic for your swollen legs and feet.

NEGATIVITY IS A NO-NO

For the most part, fans have very positive things to say when they see a beautiful pregnant woman on cam. However, there are always the few who choose negativity, and you should never feel obligated to entertain that type of behavior in your room. This can include negative comments, repeatedly asking you to do things you have already stated you're not comfortable with and generally refusing to respect the rules in your room. Remember, you are a goddess, so don't hesitate to kick out anyone who doesn't treat you as such.

SETTING BOUNDARIES IS SELF-CARE

People have lots of questions when you’re pregnant, and even more so when you’re pregnant and a cam model. It’s OK for fans to be curious, but don’t ever feel like you have to answer personal questions about the baby’s father or anything else that makes you feel uncomfortable.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

If there's a reason you feel you shouldn't work on a certain day, don't. Pregnancy is exhausting in and of itself. Add working a long shift on cam to the equation, and it's enough to make anyone need a nap. Rest as often as you need to; your true fans will understand and welcome you back with open arms when you're ready to log back on. And if you have unexplained pain, bleeding or any other discomfort, do not keep working! Log off and check in with your doctor to ensure everything is okay before you come back to work — your safety and the safety of your baby are by far the most important thing. If you want to keep in touch with fans in the meantime, that's what social media is for.

HAVE FUN

Enjoy the extra attention your beautiful bump is getting you on cam and take advantage of any extra tips that are coming your way from loyal fans who want to spoil you. Some models even add baby items to their Amazon wish list and get a lot of extra help as they prepare for motherhood. If you want to play around with your new figure, you can even incorporate some pregnancy cosplay and fetishes into your repertoire. The most important thing you can do during this exciting time in your life is to have fun!
