Three Ways to Cash in on Valentine’s Day on Cam

Three Ways to Cash in on Valentine’s Day on Cam

Did you land on this page before February 14? Great, that means that one of the best holidays to market your shows and content is just around the corner, bringing you the perfect chance to make a killing (if you missed the date, I invite you to stay anyway and take ideas for next year).

Valentine’s Day is not only about celebrating love, but also about making loads of money; flower and chocolate companies know that very well. Among the several millions of single people in the world, there are many who would rather spend Valentine’s Day online with some sexy cam model, aka you, than alone. It’s also the time to show you care and give your loyal fans the extra attention that they are willing to tip extra for.

If your platform organizes something special on this day, you already have the way paved; we love to use important worldwide celebrations as excuses to throw fun and money-generating events for models. This Valentine’s Day is no different, as sites host special streams that will allow models to attract targeted traffic and engage users.

Whatever plans your cam platform has, here are some ideas to rock your V-Day.

GFE Content for Your Fans

There’s no better day to commercialize the girlfriend experience than Valentine’s Day. Instead of offering your regular assortment of hot photos and videos, try to make it more personal by selling GFE clips. Just think about what kind of video you would send to your real-life partner, but address it to users instead. For example, you can film yourself waking up in the morning, hair in beautiful disarray and talk dirty to them while coyly playing with yourself. Take into account that they want to see the most personal parts of your daily life, just as your partner would.

Sexting to Spice the Day Up

Continuing along the lines of the girlfriend experience, offering sexting services can be a great way to engage those fans who might seek live interaction throughout the day. Since it might be tricky to sort out a price for this, your best bet will be to offer this option through a pay-per-message service. Put out announcements such as “Need a Valentine? Hit me up, I’m free to chat” and wait for it.

Valentine's Day-Themed Cam Shows

A good Valentine’s Day show is not so much about what to perform, but rather the vibe around it. So you know what to do: lights, exquisite lingerie, romantic music and action!

Start by setting the room for the occasion. You want to get a more intimate mood, so playing with the lightning will do the trick. Consider using some candles to give that sensual and romantic touch to the room. Top it off with some decorative rose petals, and voila. You’ll have a dreamy place to make magic happen.

The clothing is a no-brainer. Remember that seductive lingerie set you kept unworn in the wardrobe, waiting for the perfect moment to wear it? Well, that moment is here. Then, music will be the final touch. Love also enters through the ears, so treat your audience with sensual chords that can help them dive into the narrative of the date of their dreams.

You can even heat things up before your show to whet your fans’ appetites. Use the features provided by your cam platform to give a sneak peek of what will take place in your room when the 14th arrives. For instance, we recently rolled out Timeline, an activity feed similar to Facebook’s where you can create your own posts promoting your special V-Day show, or even sell your GFE content to your audience. The sky’s the limit when it comes to satisfying Valentine’s Day desires!
